UN Resolution Ends Lebanon WarThe United Nations Security Council has approved Resolution 1701, ending hostilities between Hezbollah and Israel. The agreement has Israeli forces withdrawing from Lebanon. Followed by the Lebanese army will take up a position between Israel and Hezbollah along the border. And then an international attempt to disarm Hezbollah. Pluto Robbed Of Planet StatusThe International Astronomical Union has redefined the characteristics in which a celestial body can be called a planet. The new definition for a planet requires that the body orbit around a star. It has sufficient mass to hold a round shape. And it has to clear the area around its orbit. By this definition, Pluto is no longer a planet. The IAU reclassified Pluto as a “Dwarf Planet,” thus breaking the hearts of millions of Pluto fans around the world. |

Mrs. De Levy charged her husband with a series of cruel and inhuman acts, including several beatings. The plaintiff also complained that De Levy threatened to disfigure her and displayed a bottle which he said contained sulphuric acid. Mrs. De Levy, in her complaint, said that she incurred the displeasure of the defendant by refusing to meet certain wealthy friends of his, with whom, it is alleged, De Levy insisted his wife should associate. At one time, in a fifth Avenue modiste shop, said Mrs.De Levy, her husband referred to her as his dancing partner, telling the proprietor and saleswomen that she was not his wife. In her application for alimony, the dancer said her actor husband had $500,000 in the bank. |
